Edric has played western music most of his life and a number of years ago he
became interested in Middle Eastern percussion.  Now he is a sought-after
drummer in the Phoenix area. He teaches drum workshops and leads
drum circles.  Here is Edric on his music:

Bio

“Let me first explain that I do not consider
     myself an expert in musicology, nor am
         I a ‘traditional’ Middle Eastern percus-
               sionist.  My drumming is a fusion between
                 the  delicate  rhythms of   the Middle East
                     and  the heavy beat of  American Rock
                         and Techno  played  on a variety of
                         ethnic hand drums.”

               “Whether in  performance or teaching a workshop, my purpose is to
               promote  and    nurture   the   drumming community and to provide
             solid  rhythms for our lovely belly dancers to perform with.”
